Artist's Comments

I drew this for my English project. We are allowed to choose any kind of topic that we like, and i ended up choosing 'Fictional Creatures'. I did some research in order to draw all 11 pictures, and I used all of them to support my Powerpoint presentation about the topic.

media : coloring pencil
paper size : A4

I learned from my research that Seraph is the highest class of Angel. They are standing around God's throne to sing praises and they possess 6 wings, a pair covering their eyes, another pair to fly and the last pair to cover their feet.

I am trying to use sea green to color the wings, I thought I was making a big mistake, but surprisingly, the result was preety unique. So, I ended up falling in love with this one.

I love your Seraph. I have a big thing for Seraphim (lol look at my name) and I love the way you portrayed your Seraph the most correct way! Many people draw a random angel and call it a Seraph.. I absolutely adore it, but my one tiny problem is that Seraphim are more associated with fire, but you colored the wing sea green.. but oh well! Still looks amazing. :] Your coloring skills are amazing, considering you only use color pencil on an A4 paper.. Good job!

Well done, this is the first useful drawing of a seraph that I've seen.

I was going to say somthing about their wings actually covering their faces but then I saw your comment signature, but no matter. :)

O_O I LOVE THIS!!!!!! Been looking around, its really hard to find a good pic of a Seraphim correctly portrayed, most pics don't even have an angel with 6 wings >.>, and I love Angels, mostly Seraphim, and this pic is just amazing! Great job, fav!!
